This means that they are able to treat you efficiently using the latest and most effective treatments and therapies at a time of your choosing.

Physiotherapy

All our therapists continue to do professional development courses to keep them up to date and compliant with their registering body

Sophie Reed, BSc (Hons), MCSP, SRP

Sophie trained at Coventry University qualifying in 1995. She worked at the Hammersmith Hospital for 2 years before going to Australia for a year, where she worked in a private clinic and the public sector. She then gained further experience in the NHS before working in the private sector at The Abington Clinic. She is also a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists and Health Professional Council.

Chiropractic

 

Maxine Chimes, DC MMCA LicAc, MBAcC

Maxine graduated from the McTimoney Chiropractic College in 1996 and is registered with the General Chiropractic Council and is a member of both the McTimoney Chiropractic Association and the College of Chiropractors. She is also a member of the British Acupuncture Council having graduated from the British College of Acupuncture in 1991. In addition to chiropractic and acupuncture, Maxine also offers reflexology, cranial sacral therapy, Indian head massage, Vega Testing and thermo-auricular therapy (Hopi ear candling). Maxine is registered with BUPA, AXA/PPP and most major insurance companies.

Osteopathy

Dan Warin, BSc (Hons) Osteopathic Medicine

Dan graduated in 2005 from the Surrey Institute of Osteopathic Medicine after completing a 4-year full time course.

Dan continually undertakes professional development to maintain up to date and to stay at the forefront of current medical practice. Since graduating Dan has completed a cranial sacral osteopathic course, which he incorporates into his everyday skill set, but also uses it to successfully treat babies and children. Dan has also completed his PGCE, which is allowing him to pursue his interest in teaching the future generations of Osteopaths. With a lecturing and clinical role at the London School of Osteopathy, Dan is enjoying the constant questions and challenges that come with education, and working with his fellow peers. With a heavy emphasis on university research, Dan is proud to be a part of the future of Osteopathy, and it’s place in the medical world.

Over the years Dan has treated thousands of patients, and worked at several clinics. Originally being part of clinics at Wellingborough, Bedford and Northampton, Dan is now proud to be part of a long standing team at the Abington Clinic, as well as running his own clinic in Bicester. This has all enabled Dan to build a wealth of knowledge and experience to ensure each patient is treated as an individual so that they can feel reassured in the knowledge that they are in safe hands.

 

Georgie McGahey

Georgie graduated from the London School of Osteopathy with a Masters in 2024. Previous to working as an osteopath, Georgie has worked for the NHS as a health and wellbeing coaching, helping patients achieve meaningful lifestyle change.

Podiatry

Suzanne Avil, DPoDM, SRCh, MChS

Suzanne qualified from the Northampton School of Podiatry in 1991. She specialises in the management of callus, corns verrucae, ulcers and in-growing toe nails, biomechanical assessment of the lower limb involving the provision of insoles and orthoses.

Kate Hammond, DPoDM, HCPC, MChS

Kate qualified from the Northampton School of Podiatry in 1991. Kate has 10 years experience with the NHS between 1991-2001. She specialises in the management of callus, corns verrucae, ulcers and in-growing toe nails, biomechanical assessment of the lower limb involving the provision of insoles and orthoses.

Psychotherapy

Andre Symeou, BSc.Dip.P., PsyC

Andre specialises in the cognitive behavioural treatment of anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, obsession and compulsion, depression, relationship difficulties, confidence and self-esteem and eating problems by removing negative patterns and conditioning the patient into new and better ways of operating.

Trichologist 

Jacqueline Martin MIT

Jacqueline is a qualified clinical trichologist who trained and graduated from The Institute of Trichologists. She can diagnose and offer advice, treatment and re-assurance on a wide range of hair and scalp disorders including hair loss /thinning /shedding /breakage, scalp eczema, scalp psoriasis, itchy/scaly scalp conditions and afro hair problems.

Hypnotherapy

Christine Gould, MA, C.Hyp, DABCH, MABCH, MCAHyp.

Christine Gould –  Based in the heart of England she runs a thriving private hypnotherapy practice and for the past twenty years has worked with the National Health Service at Northampton General Hospital.

For seventeen years she worked as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting patients with chronic pain.
